WHCA JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation is a 200 km cycling journey along the majestic Canadian Rockies to fight cancer.

West Hillhurst Community Association is proud to be opening it’s canteen on Sunday, February 21, 2010 with all proceeds going towards this worthy cause as a show of support to three community member women who are riding for this event in June.  Food items such as hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and home baked goodies will be on sale.

Please contribute to this event with a food purchase or donation. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Alberta Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and treatment.
