Lesson Information:

All skaters will be divided up into groups according to the CFSA Canskate and Canfigure skate badges passed.  If no badges have been taken the skaters will then be evaluated and placed into a group according to skill level.

Each Can-Figure Skater will receive 2 1/2 hours of group lesson instruction per week.  You must have completed the CFSA Can-Skate badges to be in Can-Figure skate or have the consent of the skating coach.  Any time other than scheduled lesson time is considered practice time for all skaters (lesson time on Saturday is 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.) lesson time on Wednesday is 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.). The practice ice is supervised by the Program assistants.  These Program assistants are also out there to give extra help to those skaters who would like some extra help with their skills. Each Can-Skate skater will receive one 1/2 hour group lesson per week.  The group lesson times will be set up.  Can-Skate ice time other than the scheduled lesson time is considered to be practice ice time.  The practice ice is supervised by the Program assistants who are also available for extra help.

The season consists of a total of 24 weeks of skating.
