Online
Registration for West Hillhurst
programs is here! This system will allow you to register your kids online,
avoiding long line-ups and frustration!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
You can
register your kids and sign up for volunteer activities, on our online secure
credit card payment system
1. print
off your REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION form (one copy for you and one for us)
2. enclose a copy of your registration confirmation form with your cheque(s)
3. enclose
all deposit cheques required for the volunteer events you have signed up for
(if you are volunteering)
3. drop off
or mail your registration to our office
Here's
how it works:
1. login to
the system using the username and password that was emailed to you: if you
haven't received your username and password, please contact Bev at
bev@whca.ca
2. once you
have logged in, click on the NEW
REGISTRATION button and complete the
registration wizard
3. when you
reach the final checkout screen, be sure to print off 2 copies of the
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION page
- one
copy is for you to keep
- one
copy is for you to drop off or mail with your volunteer deposit cheques
4. you will
receive an email confirmation once your registration has been processed; you
will be able to login again and view the changed status of your registrations
as well as track your volunteer activities
VOLUNTEER POLICY FOR THE 2008/2009 SESSION Point System: Volunteer duties will be done on a point system calculated on the area, job performed and how much that area contributes to cover the subsidized fees. Each point is valued at $18.75 towards the subsidized fee.
For registering 1 child you must earn 16 points for all programs except Canfigure which requires 24 points. When you are registering 1 child you require 16 points plus an additional 16 points for registering more than 1 child to a maximum of 32 points. Canfigure requires 24 points to a maximum of 48 points. ALL volunteers must provide a post-dated deposit by cheque or credit card for the amount of subsidy earned, for each commitment date chosen. Failure to attend the agreed upon volunteer commitment will result forfeiture of that deposit. When using either the on-line or in-person registration, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED REGISTERED UNTIL ALL VOLUNTEER TIMES ARE CHOSEN AND POST-DATED VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT DEPOSIT CHEQUES ARE PROVIDED. With our online system, you pick your own volunteer times. Because of past abuse of the subsidy system, we will not reschedule any volunteer times. It is your responsibility to show up or find someone to take your place. For all of the parents who take advantage of the subsidy - we thank you! REFUND POLICY West Hillhurst Community will refund fees under the following conditions: - The registrant is accepted into a AA or AAA program - If the program registered for is cancelled - If the registrant moves out of the area or city - If within 1 month the child decides he/she does not want to participate in the registered program - Under certain conditions discussed with the registrar and accepted by the Association West Hillhurst Community will refund in one of two manners: - If paid by cash, cheque or debit, the Association will refund by cheque - If paid by credit card the Association will do a charge back to the credit card.
