The holidays can be a difficult time financially, socially, and mentally, and having basic needs met can relieve some of the stress for individuals that are struggling.
The Calgary Veteran’s Food Bank (CVFB) provides veterans with food security and supportive social programs. From November 16 - December 14, WHCA will be collecting donations of dried goods, non-perishable food items, hygiene items, and pet food.
Drop your donations in the labelled cardboard boxes located throughout the facility and help us fill them to the top! Boxes can be found in the arena hallway, fitness centre, main foyer, and the Go-Getters seniors club.
