Kick Off to Summer 2026

On Saturday June 20 from 12pm - 3pm, we’re Kicking Off to Summer! Come celebrate the beginning of summertime and the end of an amazing year of programming at WHCA. This is a free community event - no tickets or reservations required! Simply show up to the WHCA field and join the fun!

We’ll have a wide variety of things to see, do, and experience! Our highlights include:

• Face painting

• A mobile obstacle course

• A bike obstacle course

• Bouncy castles

• Field games and sports

• Delicious local food trucks:

  • Mumbai Bites

  • Biggie’s Glizzies

  • Frozen Assets

• Informational booths from local organizations:

  • National Access Arts Centre

  • Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation

  • The Calgary Humane Society

  • Pedalheads
